Frequently Asked Questions

Linkedin - LR inbox sync. Why messages don’t show up - sync time difference
It usually takes up to 5 hours for a linkedin message to appear in the LeadRunner inbox. It happens due to synchronization between your LinkedIn profile and LeadRunner profile. F.e. If you received a LinkedIn message at 8 am, it will appear in the LeadRunner inbox at around 15 pm.
Why can’t I send messages via inbox? Why does the text field not show up? - initializing
If you take a look at the upper part of your profile, you will see their status window that has two modes “Initializing” and “Synced”. Usually, it takes up to 2-3 minutes until your inbox is synced with your LI inbox. Only when the status is “Synced” can you start sending messages from your profile.
How many invitations can I send in the beginning?
We recommend starting from 30-35 at the beginning of your prospecting. Later, say in 2 weeks, you can increase the number of outgoing invitations to 40-45. In 1-1.5 months, you can even increase it to 50 per day. However, we do not recommend going beyond 50, to avoid blocking.
How do I export contacts? Can I export messages?
In order to export contacts you have to go to the profiles section within the campaigns page, initiate email enrichment process, filter out the profiles you’d like to export and click the export button. More information you can find in the LR tutorial videos.
How to track the performance of my campaigns?
You can track the performance of your campaigns directly from the dashboard. While there, if you scroll a bit down, you will also see other important rates that will help you understand how you’re doing performance-wise.
What should I do if my LinkedIn account gets suspended?
If you’re using our system, the possibility of your account getting blocked is quite low, mainly because our algorithms monitor if your profile exceeds recommended limits of outgoing requests and activity in general. However, in case this happens, you have to contact LeadRunner tech support and wait further instructions from the tech team.
How to handle LinkedIn connection request limits?
To handle LinkedIn connection request limits, start by sending a lower number of connection requests (30-35 per day) and gradually increase the number as your account gains more connections. It’s better to monitor your LinkedIn account for any warnings or restrictions.

How to set up a campaign (standart, 1st degree, A/B, email)
To set up a regular campaign (invitation + follow-up messages) you have to click the “Create campaign button”, select the “filter from the URL” button, paste your Sales Navigator or LinkedIn search link, and click “Create campaign”. After that, you have to set up the limits of how many invitations you will send by clicking the “edit campaign” on the campaign toolbar, going to the “Modules” section, activating the “Invite” button and setting up the number of daily invitations. We recommend staying within 20-40 invitations per day. You can start with 20 and slowly increase the number of invitations to 40 per day. Also, you have to select the note and/or the message (sequence) which you want your prospects to receive. In order to do that, you have to firstly add the desired texts to the “Templates” section to the respective “Invite” and “Sequence” sections. Only then, you will be able to select the templates within the “Modules” section inside your campaign settings. After the prospect fetching is complete, your campaign will be paused by default. You will have to activate it manually by clicking the “activate” button. Usually, fetching takes up to 20 minutes.
How to set up a 1st degree campaign
To set up a 1st degree campaign, you have to follow the same instructions as is regular campaign, only you have to uncheck the “ignore first degree profile button”, and put a checkmark on the “include profiles locked in previous campaigns” button. Inside your campaign settings, make sure to activate the “sequence” module and select relevant template/s.The amount of outgoing messages can be adjusted within the “Global settings” page. To get there, you have to go to the “Campaigns” section, and click the small steering wheel under the “Sequence” limits. The amount of messages sent per day can go from 1 to 200 messages. We recommend starting from 50 and slowly go towards 200 per day.
How to use other outreach methods in my campaigns (post likes, views, endorsements, etc.)
Using additional outreach methods such as post likes, profile views, and endorsements can enhance your engagement. Within the campaign settings, you can easily add these actions. It will be fully automated and you can choose the number of those features to be done in a day. Such features as Post Likes, Profile Views, and Endorsements help increase your visibility and engagement with potential leads, making your outreach efforts more effective.
How do I set up A/B testing for my outreach campaigns?
You can easily set up A/B testing while creating a new campaign just by clicking “A/B testing”. The platform will automatically divide the prospects into two lists. You can create multiple versions of your outreach messages to determine which performs better. As your campaigns run, you can monitor the performance, specifically key metrics such as Response Rates, Acceptance Rates, Total responses, and Total Interested for each variation.
Can I create and manage multiple campaigns simultaneously? How to do that?
Absolutely. LeadRunner allows you to create multiple campaigns and manage them simultaneously. The only aspect worth paying attention to in this case is the number of invitations. Since there are several campaigns, it’s necessary to divide the total number of invites by the number of campaigns. For example, if we have two campaigns, each of them will send 20 invites per day (40 in total). It’s necessary so that your profile won’t be blocked. You can also run a 1st degree campaign and a regular one simultaneously.
